So, for those of you who don’t know me (Justin) very well, when you first meet me… you may assume I grew up in the circus. Well… I kind of did. I have enjoyed Circus Flora for, quite literally, my entire life. My family somehow befriended The Flying Wallendas a long time ago, so I grew up alongside their kids, and we’ve celebrated a lot of life together. This year is the 30th year of my existence on planet Earth, and it is also the 30th year of Circus Flora. My first show was audio only inside my mom’s tum-tum, but I still count it. I may have missed a year or two along the way, but I’m pretty sure I’ve been to almost if not all of the performances over the past 3 decades. This year was the first year I was able to photograph some of the actual show…

Here are some photos of the show. You’ll have to go next year.

The Flying Wallenda's are all out on the wire.

Use your head! Tino and Alex Wallenda are outstanding... or outheadstanding.

Clare, one of the newest Wallendas, is putting her foot down... or up... I'm running out of puns. She's doing a handstand on a bracket carried by two people who are walking on a highwire 30 feet in the air. Do my puns really need to impress you as well?

Bicycle, bicycle, bicycle. Alex Wallenda is on a bike... on a highwire... No training wheels.

The Wallenda's are famous for pyramids. Here, Tino, Alex, and Aurelia demonstrate the 3 person seated pyramid.
